Internal Family Systems Coaching for Women
IFS has a wide application across settings -clinical and not. In my practice I focus on coaching for self understanding, empowerment, and change. Even though IFS is a clinical model that I am trained to use, my coaching services are not a replacement for therapy.
In Coaching I combine IFS with Physical Activity to help bring about individualized results through sustainable habits. IFS offers a wonderful system that allows individuals to recognize their own barriers to success and conquer them. Once you learn this and practice it you will experience deeper and notice new levels of continual growth.
I have worked with women on a fitness journey seeking ways to stay on track, recover from life altering illness, and radically change their lives by changing deeply rooted patterns, taking decisive action, understanding legacy burdens and resolving conflict.
I also use IFS and mindfulness in classrooms and 1:1 with students to help them learn to self regulate, manage stress, perfectionism, problems in executive functioning, and to feel centered and empowered. Students learn to balance work with self care and ways to cope and self regulate. In addition IFS provides an opportunity to underscore kindness and relieve peer pressure.
